PAM lab comes together for its 2026 General Assembly
On July 10, 2026, the members of the PAM lab gathered at the Royal Saltworks of Arc-et-Senans for the unit’s annual General Assembly.

The day was devoted to a collective reflection on the future of the PAM lab and to preparing the next unit project for the 2029–2033 period.

Ahead of the General Assembly, several thematic workshops were organized to contribute to this collective reflection. Their findings were presented and discussed during the morning session, focusing on several key areas: organization and governance, human resources and infrastructure, partnerships and ecosystem, training and attractiveness, impact and responsibility, as well as the scientific trajectory and positioning of the PAM lab for the 2029–2033 period.
Beyond discussions on the unit’s future directions, the General Assembly also provided a valuable opportunity for PAM lab members to meet and share ideas. In the remarkable setting of the Royal Saltworks of Arc-et-Senans, the day continued with a convivial lunch, followed by group tours to discover the site.
A day rich in discussion and new perspectives, marking an important step in shaping the PAM lab’s next unit project.
