EcoSec: Reducing the environmental impact of hygiene operations in refrigerated food processing facilities through optimal use of air dehumidification
The objective of this project is to study the influence of air dehumidification on the destruction of Listeria monocytogenes in food processing factories after cleaning and disinfection operations in order to enhance bacterial inactivation and process sustainability. It aims to develop models and tools to control humidity, temperature, and airflow parameters while reducing environmental impact and ensuring food safety.
