The BIOVI project is exploring alternatives to chemical inputs in viticulture by testing biocontrol in the vineyard and bioprotection in winemaking. BIOVI project is evaluating the effectiveness of plant defence stimulants (PDS) against vine diseases and the use of non-Saccharomyces yeasts to reduce sulphites. The study combines biochemical and microbiological analyses to optimise these strategies.
