On 14 November, Laura Carballido won the Audace prize at the regional “Starthèse 2024” contest, a competition for doctoral students and PhD entrepreneurs organised by Pépite BFC. Her project, Projet Smart In Pack, which focuses on innovation in sensors for the food industry, received particular acclaim. 

She was also named national winner, and invited to represent the Bourgogne Franche-Comté region. On 12 November, Laura Carballido pitched her project in Toulouse alongside the 20 other national winners.
