Scientific events in connection with the OIV Congress

Following the 45th World Congress of Vine and Wine, the new headquarters of the OIV, the Hôtel Bouchu d'Esterno, opened its doors to the public on 19 and 20 October.

On 19 October, the UMR's professor, associate professor, PhD students and post-doc researcher organised a series of scientific events to share their research into vines and wine.

The audience was able to learn about a number of current research projects through discussions on:

  • the mechanisms of alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in wines,
  • the conservation and adaptation to climate change,
  • the cork stoppers
  • the research into innovative solutions to limit the use of inputs in the winemaking process, with a focus on natural alternatives to chemical additives.

Many thanks for this wonderful day to our UMR's professor, associate professor, PhD students and post-doc researcher: Ghadi Abi Fadel, Tiffany Bellanger, Julie Chanut, Massimiliano Gerometta, Cosette Granvalet, Thomas Karbowiak.
