Every year, the Amorim Academy awards its ‘Science & Research Grand Prize’ to a researcher for doctoral thesis work that has improved knowledge of wine and its environment. The Amorim Academy's mission is to support the work of these researchers by offering them an annual grant to reward the scientific work they have undertaken to improve knowledge of wine.
