The BIOTECH'INNOV platform is dedicated to bioprocesses for the production of micro-organisms or metabolites of interest. It combines the scientific, technological and human resources of PAM Lab and SATT-SAYENS. Its aim is to understand the mechanisms involved and to optimise the associated bioprocesses, from laboratory research to pilot scale, in order to promote their industrialisation.

The platform is coordinated by Bonastre Oliete, Associate Professor at the Institut Agro Dijon, in collaboration with Jean-Pierre Lemière, Laurent Beney, Etienne Kayser, Ophélie Kot and Maël Dirand-Guillouard.

BIOTECH'INNOV has two main areas of expertise: 

• Aerobic solid and liquid state fermentation
• Anaerobic fermentation

The BIOTECH'INNOV platform was awarded the “Burgundy Franche-Comté Research Platform” label at the end of 2024 for a period of four years.
